Cyclone the storm is forecast to become a uncommon highest-level storm as it shifts toward the Caribbean island, causing deadly rapid inundation and rock falls.

This weather system, which registered winds of up to 120 mph as of 0600 Greenwich Mean Time, is now shifting north-west in the Caribbean Sea and is anticipated to make landfall by midweek, based on data from weather experts.

Advisories of blackouts and disruption to utilities have been released as this storm brings up to 30 inches of precipitation and coastal flooding as high as 13ft above typical tides. "Seek shelter now," locals have been urged.

This hurricane is the 13th hurricane in the ongoing Atlantic storm period, which normally finishes in the eleventh month.

Category Five Cyclone Threat

A category five cyclone is the most intense classification, with wind speeds of at least 252 km/h.

Inhabitants are being instructed to secure their homes with sand barriers and plywood sheets, and to stock up on basic necessities.
